Todia envision a future for Iraq in which communities are in
the focus of development planning and decision –making process, while poverty
and inequality are the exception rather than the rule. An Iraq where each person has equal
access to essential services and the possibility to reach his or her fullest
human and professional potential.
Mission
Todia has a strong commitment to help the poorest among the
Iraqi population to help them to improve access to health care, education, food
and financial security to overcome their present vulnerability to the emergency
generated by the recent conflict and potential future threats.
Key values
For several decades the Iraqi people was deprived of the
possibility to play a significant role in the development of its country. Just yesterday,
working out of official political structures was considered as a crime, as well
as any organization of traditional or non-governmental bodies.
Therefore by starting its activities Todia is committed to;
-work in close partnerships with beneficiary communities
both while implementing projects and when evaluating their effectiveness.
-Identify, in collaboration with communities, people’s real
immediate needs.
-Implement in accordance with humanitarian standards and
code of conduct.
-Monitor and account for our activities in a timely and
transparent way.
